I rarely read the NY Times anymore. I read about 5 articles a week. I use to read a lot more. I learned a great deal about something I needed to learn to carry me forward in life about the way the world works. It was a painful lesson.
Lately, I've been watching the Directors' Commentary of great movies. I've been re-watching all of Oliver Stone's movies, where he has a commentary. He's great at explaining what he was thinking and doing during making the movie. Someone should do the same for Chinese Medicine, perhaps with a voice over of someone getting treated by a Chinese Medicine doctor. Oh yeah, I did something like that with Ed over a year ago and you can find the link on this website somewhere to the Youtube videos. I've learned a lot about telling a story since then, but the Ed videos were a good first stab.
I've almost totally tuned out Obama's presidency. I don't think democracy works. And it sure seems like having an evil dictator doesn't work either as depicted in some of Oliver Stone's movies. As he seems to bend over backwards to get the essence of the story right, but he's still telling a story.
