CELEBRITIES
An excellent way to teach the masses Chinese Medicine to the masses is by creating content around celebrities lives. Our culture is obsessed with celebrities and Chinese Medicine needs to to applied to one person at a time. I can’t say anything worthwhile about all people with a headache, but I can say something about a celebrity who has a splitting headache because paparazzis won’t leave him/her alone. It can be a Win-Win for CMG’s and the celebrity with the woes. We have creative ideas to respect the celebrity’s privacy and still achieve our purpose of teaching Chinese Medicine to the masses.
In our blog entries we are baiting our hooks to reel in particular celebrities that we feel are a good fit. If you are one of these celebrity fish -- contact us at cmgmedguys@yahoo.com. MEDIA
The mission of the Chinese Medicine Guys is simple: To bring Chinese Medicine into the every-day discussion of how people can live better. We know Chinese Medicine can revolutionize the way we live – improving our own lives – and the lives of our kids. Lofty goals? Sure, but what’s the point of aiming low in life.
That said, we have followed various media outlets and news personalities for years now. And we want to align ourselves with the very best (we may talk to a few other people on our way.) But we believe we bring our very best to the table – and that’s why we are intent on the gaining the attention of those who can help us bring Chinese Medicine to the masses (as in groups of people and not to gatherings at churches). So the call is out there to the following: NY Times, Charlie Rose, NBC News Brian Williams and our very favorite – Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times. Please contact us at cmgmedguys@yahoo.com. OK, we’ll entertain other requests too – but know that our sights are set on the above. CLASSES/WORKSHOPS
The Chinese Medicine Guys are available for teaching classes or workshops. Our goal is to be both informative and entertaining. And no, we won’t ask participants to “Think outside the box.” or “What color is their parachute?”
The content and format of our presentations lend themselves to different venues, including wellness weekends at spas and hotels (preferably those with more than three stars – I gotta keep my sister Carol happy too.) We also do corporate education, especially at places whose culture would embrace new ways of thinking about things. So, Google, Apple, Amazon, Patagonia or even the NY Times – you’re on our list too.
And we have a multi-tiered approach to bringing Chinese Medicine to the masses. Grammar school and high school students are on radar as well. We believe the new secretary of education, Arne Duncan, who began in our hometown of Chicago is just the guy to bring the principles of healthy living to the educational system – which desperately needs it (in our humble opinion.)
If you are interested in having a class or workshop taught by a CMG, please contact us at cmgmedguys@yahoo.com. OK, we’ll entertain other requests too – but know that our sights are set on the above. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
For technical problems, contact me at cmgmedguys@yahoo.com. Technical problems, as in things on the website that should be working but are not.
If you have any technical ideas, feel free to send them to me at the same email address. I cannot promise that I will even read them, as I need to focus on fixing any technical problems and even more importantly, creating Chinese Medicine content. When this site starts to generate some revenue, we will add relevant website functions to this minimalist structure. When that happens, we will hire someone to take care of those problems and therefore, get someone who is better suited than I am to handle this task.OTHER
We are a small Mom and Pop shop with a narrow focus of teaching Chinese Medicine to the masses. This is all we can handle and do high quality work. All other things are outside of our scope. Sorry.
